Greetings on this very unique and unprecedented Monday morning.  We hope that everyone is safe and secure during this very difficult time.

We posted updated legal notices on our website relating to relaxed deadlines for Tax Appeals and cancellations of certain proceedings in the Family Courts and Civil Courts.  Additionally, the Courts are gradually converting to phone conferences and video conferences to dispose of pending motions and other contested matters not requiring a physical appearance. New Jersey Family Court is also processing uncontested matters by phone.

The attorneys at McNerney & McAuliffe are immediately available to you during this very difficult time. While our staff will be working remotely, we continue to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event that you encounter a legal emergency. Please know that if you are impacted by an act of domestic violence, we have resources available to you, including contact information for shelters and safe houses to protect you. Remember that your safety must always be the overriding paramount concern.

Police departments continue to enforce all laws, ordinances, and traffic violations.  As such, it is imperative that anyone charged with a crime or otherwise detained by police in these difficult times immediately reach out to an attorney to protect your liberty interests and your physical health and welfare.

Our email and contact information is provided above, and we encourage you to reach out to us in the event you fear that your legal rights are being threatened during this difficult time
